IBBI uses the same criteria for selecting suppliers as it does for accepting members:  a reputation for top quality and service, for financial stability and integrity, and for industry leadership.

IBBI members are not required to purchase through a sponsored supplier.  However, members are committed to give every sponsored supplier a fair review.  The IBBI office works together with the Purchasing Committee to put together supplier programs that earn group support on their merits alone.  Benefits of new supplier programs are then actively promoted to the membership.  This approach has worked well for both suppliers and members.
